Dog and Puppy Tricks Training

Teaching your dog tricks is a win-win for everyone!  Not only do you get to spend more time with your four-legged companions, they will love showing off to friends and family! Taking your dog on walks helps to wear out physical energy, but it doesn’t engage their minds like tricks do.  Teaching your dog in a structured environment can be fun for both you and your four-legged friend.  With some guidance, you will be able to work with your dog in a whole new way!

We will show you how to teach your dog each trick, so the more they learn, the more you learn, too!  Each dog has certain strengths, so it’s important that the tricks are tailored to each individual dog.  Do you have a dog that loves to be near your feet?  He may like to learn how to weave between your legs!  How about those dogs that love to jump?  They may enjoy learning to jump over your head!  Once you learn the basics, the possibilities are endless.

Don’t think that tricks are just for the older dogs, though!  Puppies as early as 8 weeks can start learning basic tricks.  The bond between you and your puppy will be strengthened by teaching fun things like ‘turn’ or ‘roll over.’  Giving your puppy a job to do when they are young will really increase their confidence and help you wear out their energy. You’ll be amazed by what they can learn!
